Godolphin Parents Association
Our mission:
Enhancing The Godolphin Community
Godolphin Parents Association (GPA) is a charity, the purpose of which is to support the educational experience of Godolphin Prep pupils.
Our objective is to inspire and coordinate the efforts of parents, staff and pupils in fund-raising activities for the provision of additional educational equipment for the school, whilst continuing its support of the Prep’s chosen charities. These activities will enhance and reinforce the sense of community and values to which Godolphin aspires.
We care deeply about the well being of our pupils and the GPA will introduce them to a wider range of exciting experiences, which alongside their school curriculum, will result in more rounded individuals.
Who are we?
The GPA is run by a committee of volunteers and anyone is very welcome to come along and join in. Members of the committee come up with ideas, organise and help at events and liaise with the school about fundraising targets.
One new innovation is to have a rep for each year group who will organise a social event (coffee, lunch or supper) once a term for their group.
The GPA differs from the Parents’ Committee which meets with Miss Miller to discuss academic and administrative points of school life.
