There are many brilliant opportunities for girls to get involved with Drama at Godolphin. Drama Club is open to First and Second Years and meets once a week; girls are encouraged to write and produce their own plays, performing to the school twice a year at our Blackledge Fringe events, to rave reviews!
Third Years have their own theatre company called BROADcast, a group that creates a range of provocative work over the course of the year, inspired by contemporary or social issues that are pertinent at that time.
Girls in the Fourth Year through to the Upper Sixth as well as Old Girls can join Portal Theatre Company, a resident theatre company that creates devised and scripted performances and takes them into the wider community. The most recent production was based on the poetry of Sir John Betjeman. www.portaltheatre.com We also offer Speech & Drama Lessons – find out more here.
