Bright Futures (Careers)

At Godolphin, we believe that preparing for the future is just as important as academic success. Our award-winning Bright Futures programme is embedded into every pupil’s journey from their first year, ensuring they develop the skills, confidence, and connections to thrive beyond school.

Support begins as part of the PSHCEE curriculum and intensifies in the Lower Sixth, when pupils start to focus more intently on university destinations, personal statements, and relevant work experience. Whether they aspire to study at a world-class university, secure a competitive apprenticeship, or enter the workplace, we provide expert guidance at every step.

Line 1

Focused support in the Lower Sixth

This is the year when university applications begin. Every pupil receives tailored one-to-one support, whether for UCAS, Oxbridge, medicine, or international applications. The Higher Education Conference and Fair, held in the Summer Term, brings together leading universities and admissions tutors to provide in-depth guidance.

For those considering gap years or apprenticeships, we offer specialist advice to help pupils make informed choices about alternative pathways.

From the moment pupils enter Godolphin Sixth, they benefit from a comprehensive and personalised careers programme, blending expert mentorship with real-world experience. Beyond academic preparation, Bright Futures ensures every pupil is career-ready, equipping them with the essential skills to stand out in an increasingly competitive job market.

With expert mentorship, industry connections, and a strong network of supportive Alumnae, Bright Futures is a defining strength of Godolphin. It empowers our pupils to step into their next chapter with ambition, courage, and confidence - whether that means pursuing higher education, embarking on an apprenticeship, or entering the professional world.  At Godolphin, we don’t just prepare pupils for their next step, we prepare them for a lifetime of success.
