The Combined Cadet Force (CCF) is an integral part of our co-curricular programme, playing a key role in preparing pupils for adult life. It complements our academic and pastoral objectives by fostering essential skills such as leadership, self-discipline, and resilience.

Our varied and exciting CCF programme is modelled on the cadet syllabus, offering pupils the chance to develop basic military skills, including weapon training, shooting, fieldcraft, and drill. Alongside these, pupils take part in adventurous activities such as walking, climbing, canoeing, and raft building. As they progress, cadets take on leadership roles, training new recruits and leading groups on outdoor expeditions, building confidence and responsibility.

The CCF places a strong emphasis on personal development, focusing on leadership, self-confidence, self-discipline, and endurance. It also encourages resourcefulness, perseverance, and teamwork, helping pupils grow into capable, well-rounded individuals. The CCF is a hugely popular activity at Godolphin, offering a unique blend of challenge, adventure, and camaraderie. Pupils thrive on the opportunities it provides, growing in confidence and gaining skills that will serve them for life.
