Boarding
Boarding at Godolphin is much more than just a place to stay - it is a transformative journey that cultivates confidence, independence and lifelong friendships. Whether a pupil boards one night a week or full-time, they are cared for by dedicated house staff who prioritise their wellbeing, happiness and success. Our staff support our culture of openness and empathy, creating a collaborative environment where pupils thrive.
We provide a vibrant and inclusive community where both day and boarding pupils aged 11 to 19 live and learn together. Our boarding houses, Walters and Cooper, boast a warm and supportive environment ensuring every pupil feels at home. Day pupils join boarders to relax, study and connect, creating a seamless blend of day and boarding life.
As part of our ongoing adaptation to co-education, our thoughtfully designed boarding facilities ensure the comfort and privacy of all pupils. Boys and girls have separate sleeping quarters, bathrooms and locker rooms, while our communal areas are designed to foster an inclusive and supportive community for everyone.
“ Pupils have highly developed social skills and are proud of the culture of kindness which is embedded in the boarding houses and across the school ”
