First - Third Year

At Godolphin, our goal is to ignite a passion for learning through a dynamic and diverse curriculum. We want our pupils to feel inspired and energised as they expand their knowledge, refine their skills and embrace new subjects for the very first time.

Curiosity is at the heart of everything we do. We encourage our pupils to think independently, tackle challenges with confidence, and develop the resilience and motivation that will empower them in every stage of their education. By the end of their Third Year, they will be brimming with excitement, ready to dive into the rich array of GCSE courses ahead.

As they approach this pivotal moment, pupils will be thoughtfully guided through the decision-making process, ensuring they feel supported as they select the subjects that will shape their journey into the Fourth Year and beyond.

We take immense pride in offering a curriculum that is as engaging as it is expansive - one that nurtures individual strengths, sparks ambition and lays the foundation for a future full of possibility.

Preparing for GCSE

To support pupils in making informed decisions, we host a GCSE Information Evening in early March of Third Year, where both pupils and parents can learn more about the available options. Discussions with subject teachers and tutors follow throughout the term before the options form opens.

Once choices have been submitted, the timetable is finalised in the Summer Term, ensuring that each pupil has a structured and balanced programme of study.
