Our Science Faculty aims to stimulate and challenge students, encouraging them to develop informed opinions founded on strong arguments. All four of our Science Departments (Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Geology) cover syllabus materials whilst promoting awareness, knowledge and understanding of the scientific issues affecting the world around us today.
The faculty embraces a positive and ‘can-do’ approach and through enthusiastic and knowledgeable teaching, many students go on to receive excellent results at iGCSE and A-level. Valuable transferable skills such as investigative questioning, analysis and evaluation equip students with the tools to succeed in science related areas as well as many other subjects.
