We want to inspire a love of food and an understanding of food-related issues. Our teaching is focused on developing a student’s ability to make sensible and healthy food choices, so they become discerning consumers. Food Preparation and Nutrition is a great opportunity for students to demonstrate their creativity around food as well as develop an understanding of food science and nutrition. They become independent learners, developing important new skills in decision-making, creativity, and critical analysis by working collaboratively and independently.
