Sixth Form Life

Life in the Sixth Form is designed to give students independence, a strong sense of community and an inspiring environment in which to learn, socialise and grow.

Walters House: The Heart of Sixth Form

  • Walters House sits at the centre of Sixth Form life at Godolphin. Every student has:
  • Their own personal desk, ideal for study and organisation
  • Access to a fully equipped kitchen
  • A welcoming social space for relaxing with friends
  • Around 50% of our Sixth Form choose flexi‑boarding, making Walters a perfect stepping‑stone between school life and the independence of university.

    Supportive Staff, Always Close By

Both the Head of Sixth Form and the Head of Bright Futures are based in Walters House, ensuring students have easy access to support, guidance and advice whenever they need it.

    A Warm, Inclusive Community

We pride ourselves on being a close‑knit, welcoming and inclusive community where every individual is recognised, valued and encouraged to be themselves.

A Vibrant Social Calendar

Our Sixth Form experience is filled with opportunities for fun, connection and shared memories. Highlights include:

  • Weekly Bar Night in Walters House
  • Winter Ball
  • Movie nights
  • Wine tasting events
  • Annual ‘Commem’ trip to London
  • Sixth Form BBQ
  • Summer Ball

These events create a lively, joyful atmosphere and help students form friendships that last far beyond their time at school.
