On Wednesday 27 January, the School took a break and "switched off" to focus on the wellbeing of our students and staff.
Everyone felt the benefit of Wellbeing Wednesday. I have heard of lovely walks, (several with hot chocolate en route!), time spent with pets, by the river, two-meat roast dinners, face masks, nail painting, brownie baking and for me, it was afternoon tea and a lot of laughter.
It seemed timely to have a break mid-way through our half-term, and there is much talk of Wellbeing on the BBC's Winterwatch this week too; the effect of nature on our wellbeing shouldn't be underestimated. Thankfully the rain held off for the most part on Wednesday.
Next week is Children's Mental Health Week 1-7 February and the theme is express yourself. Please do check our Pastoral Pages on the website which are regularly updated and of course, if you have any concerns about your daughter, please do get in touch.
