A Historic First: Godolphin Hosts Its First-Ever Boys’ Home Fixture
Yesterday marked an unforgettable chapter in Godolphin’s sporting journey—we hosted our first-ever boys’ fixture at home! The event was a fantastic triangular tournament featuring teams from Leehurst Swan and Forres Sandle Manor, and it was nothing short of unforgettable.
The opening game ended in a hard-fought 0-0 draw, but what a performance from our boys! They gave it everything—creating chances, defending with determination, and showing incredible resilience throughout.
In the second game, their persistence paid off. With skill and teamwork shining through, Godolphin secured a 2-0 victory over FSM! This result meant that Godolphin finished as overall winners with 4 points—an incredible achievement for our boys on their home debut.
Director of Sport summed it up perfectly:
