U13 cricketers compete in the ECB County Indoor Cricket Finals!
Last Friday, our U13 cricketers competed in the ECB County Indoor Cricket Finals inside the air dome at Chippenham cricket club. Being the first time we have competed in this competition, the players were nervous and not sure what to expect. However, the team competed fantastically well in the group stages, winning all three of their matches.
Highlights included Poppy collecting four wickets in one over, Sacha scoring runs for fun and Imogen taking some great catches. Going into the semi-finals, confidence was high! Unfortunately, we came up against a school with some cracking players and we couldn’t quite bowl them out before they reached the target we had set them. Congratulations to the team for performing so well, and thanks to Lottie for captaining the side for the first time. The U15 cricketers compete in the same competition on 4 March and we wish them luck!
