Success at the National Preparatory Schools Athletics Championships!
July 4 marked the National Preparatory Schools Athletics Championships, this year held in the Pingles stadium, Nuneaton. Reaching the finals is a remarkable achievement, and we were very proud of our four girls who made it through.
The day began with Henrietta M, running the 1500m and setting a new PB in the process. The field was incredibly tough, but Henrietta ran brilliantly but fell outside the medal places this time. Then came Daisy N who jumped a massive 4.74m to win the U14 girls long jump and be crowned national champion. Darcey T-H then followed, winning the U13 Shot put and also taking the National title. She then came third in the Discus!
Orla E then came third in the U13 high jump to finish the medal haul! What an amazing day for our Athletes. We are very proud of all that they have achieved this year.
