Show Jumping at West Wiltshire Equestrian Centre
We had a fabulous day at the Dauntsey's Inter-Schools' Equestrian Competition at the West Wiltshire Equestrian Centre on Sunday. The girls were all on great form and the team spirit was outstanding despite the usual highs and lows. We had quite a few girls riding for the school for the first time which was also exciting.
In the Prep School Isabelle Morris rode a super fast round in the 75cm to come individual second. The previous day she had also been at the NSEA plate Championships where she came 17th in a field of over 70. A busy and long weekend for Isabelle on her last ride on Banner before he is ‘retired’ to her brother.
The 1m team of Chloe Lemieux, Isla Read and Bella Butterworth had a long wait to ride first in their class. Despite being only a team of 3, they achieved the only team clears in their class to win and qualify for the Hickstead Elite championships. Chloe followed this by riding another fast clear to come first in the individual 1.10m.
A beautiful sunny day and fabulous results.
