Second Year take part in 'Merchant of Venice' workshop at Salisbury Playhouse!
On Thursday 3 March, the Second Year visited the Salisbury Playhouse to take part in a Merchant of Venice themed workshop. Practitioners from the Playhouse led the students in a wide range of activities that gave them a greater understanding of the plot and the characterisation of the play’s key figures.
The students seemed to have an absolutely wonderful time; and it was fantastic to see students able to venture out into the community once more.
The Second Year will be continuing their study of Merchant of Venice up until Easter, and this trip has ensured that enthusiasm for this is at a peak!
Thank you to all of the Second Year, they really made the most of this opportunity; and thank you also to the Salisbury Playhouse – we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
