NSEA Championship Success

Flo Alice Emma Ella

Godolphin Equestrians Ella Mitchell, Florence Rowsell, Emma Jowett and Alice Tregoning had a busy few days at Keysoe competing in the NSEA National Championships. The girls were hugely successful with Emma Jowett and Striker came 3rd in the 1.10m Jumping with Style Final, a huge achievement. This followed Alice’s success on Saturday in the final of the 2018 Nations Cup. This was a mixed height Show jumping competition with two riders competing for each nation at each of the following heights:

a) 75cm, b) 85cm, c) 95cm, d)1.05m

After wining the national County Championships Alice and Uncle P had pre-qualified and was invited to represent England at the 95cm level versus Scotland / Wales/ Ireland / ‘rest of the world’, for the Nations Cup Challenge Trophy, a jubilant England team took first place!

Monday saw more success in a strong field with Emma becoming the National Schools Open JwS Champion coming 1st individually in the 1m and the team 3rd.

A fabulous end to the championships, two individual 1st places, a team 1st and two team 3rds. A tremendous result from our school and well done to all of the girls who took part and a thank you to those who could not attend but helped us to qualify.
