Godolphin Literary Festival, Joa Studholme
Joa Studholme - Thursday 17th October, 7.00pm
Joa is the woman with the ultimate eye for colour. In her hands a-not-quite-white becomes Joa’s White and a hugely desired Farrow & Ball classic. For decades she has been giving her full attention to Farrow & Ball’s customers' every need, suggesting Elephant’s Breath or Sulking Room Pink for pantries and boudoirs across the world. Today her flair and passion for colour is celebrated in two books on colour and her most recent Recipes For Decorating looks at her case studies. She is responsible for mixing and planning the colours and for combining style with nostalgia and fashion. As tastes move away from neutrals and embrace stronger colours Joa is busy plotting new colours, always one step ahead of her own game.
This talk is open to the public and tickets can be purchased here.
