Fleur Hitchcock is a hugely loved children’s author who has won numerous awards for her intriguing and gripping mystery stories. Hugely popular with 9-12-year olds her captivating adventure books range in subjects from murders mysteries to children with shrinking powers. Her recent children’s novel The Boy Who Flew is a historical thriller full of twists and turns, murder and secret plans for a flying machine; it has been described as ‘an unputdownable, heart-stopping, white knuckle ride of book’. When she is not writing she works with her husband who is a toymaker.
