Godolphin girls head to Portugal for a self-defense bootcamp
Combat Fit Boot Camps provide students with an opportunity to immerse themselves into a focused training regime, delivered at the stunning Alfagar Resort in the Algarve Portugal.
Training during the five day camp focused on morning functional fitness on Santa Eulalia Beach, afternoon practical self-defence training and evening workshops based around Conflict Resolution and Personal Safety. The 12 girls from Godolphin who travelled to Portugal excelled in all areas of the programme and on completion displayed the skill set required to deal with an aggressive assailant. I was personally very proud of all the girls for completing the course and am looking forward to future boot camps in the Algarve.
