Geology girls in search for sharks teeth!

Sharks Teeth 400X300

On Sunday the 3rd December the A Level Geology girls went in search of 40 million year old sharks’ teeth along the beach at Barton on Sea.  This site is famous for its fossil marine snail shells and sharks’ teeth, as well as some spectacular slumping of the cliff face.  The weather was very kind to us and we had a pretty good haul, including one of the biggest teeth I have seen found at Barton, well spotted Sophie Sykes!
