First Year Trip to Marwell Zoo!

Marwell Zoo 778X436

On Wednesday 6th June my entire year group went to Marwell Zoo. We all enjoyed this trip because it was a lovely day that we got to spend outside in an amazing zoo. We got to look at all sorts of amazing and unique animals. They were so cool and cute!

We learnt a lot about adaptations and found out lots of amazing facts. Did you know that Pygmy Hippos can hide under water and are related to whales? And that Ring Tailed Lemurs have forward facing eyes to help them judge distances when they jump from branch to branch? And that Sulawesi Black Macaques hoot so they can communicate with each other across the forest?

Altogether it was brilliant trip that helped us to learn more about animals and conservation in a super fun way.
