Find Godolphin's Vocal Ensemble behind the closed door of Advent
Godolphin's Vocal Ensemble is delighted to be supporting a wonderful charity this year, Cathedral Music Trust, by taking part in their digital Advent Calendar. Each day of Advent, a different recording will be found behind a closed door, featuring performances by young choristers, choral scholars, singers, choirs, organists and choir directors drawn from across the UK. Cathedral Music Trust’s Ambassador Alexander Armstrong commented “We’re excited to be launching our new Digital Advent Calendar which we hope will help spread some seasonal cheer, whilst helping Cathedral Music Trust open more doors of opportunity for young people to benefit from the extraordinary experience of being part of a cathedral choir. I would also like to say a special thank you to all musicians who have generously volunteered their time to help us create this calendar in celebration of such a worthy cause.”
Olivia Sparkhall, director of Vocal Ensemble, said “Every year Vocal Ensemble is lucky to take part in a charity carol concert, raising vital funds for those in need.
