Despite the challenging conditions, Godolphin finished second!
Last Tuesday a team of girls travelled to Milton Abbey School for their annual cross country event. The team comprised of eleven Intermediate girls and one Senior girl. The girls had to run a challenging course, described as very, very, very muddy by the race organiser! The girls ran brilliantly despite the mud, wet and cold, and finished 2nd in the team competition.
Special notice has to be given to Alice (4th Senior); Amelia (4th Intermediate); Jemima (7th Intermediate) and Juliet – who came 3rd despite losing both her shoes in thick mud and running the last part of the race (which was on road) in her socks! Amazing commitment. Next week brings the exciting ‘studland stampede’ taking place along the beautiful coastline.
