A Godolphin Prep showcase at Speech Day 2022!
We were thrilled to be back in the marquee for Prep Speech Day – it gave us the opportunity to share our favourite memories of 2021-2022 with our families and our special guests, including the UVI Leavers.
Girls from Nursery to Year 6 took part in the Samba and they all contributed to the script which accompanied the film of the Prep year. Our numerous trips, special events and activities featured strongly and highlighted that Covid and Storm Eunice had done nothing to dampen the spirit and resilience of the girls.
We welcomed back former Prep pupils, Betty and Isabella as our guest speakers and their excellent advice to Year 6 was delivered with humour and kindness.
The girls particularly enjoyed the opportunity to reprise some of their favourite songs from the Nativity and Shakespeare Rocks and to perform the song Robin Highcock wrote especially for them.
Everyone agreed it was a wonderful and very happy celebration of the girls’ achievements - a fitting end to a fantastic year and a great start to the summer holidays.
