Farewell class of 2022!
On a beautiful, sunny Saturday evening, members of the Upper Sixth came together for the final time as Godolphin students for the traditional Leavers’ Ball. This was an opportunity for them, their families and staff to celebrate their time here and to send them off in style.
After a delicious three course meal provided by the amazing chefs and staff of Chartwells, the party started in earnest when Abba’s Angels took to the stage. Soon the whole marquee was shaking to the sound of Dancing Queen. The dance floor was full as pupils, parents and staff danced to hit after hit.
It was a wonderful evening of celebration and happiness with the worries and strains of the exams behind them and the holidays and festivals to look forward to.
When midnight arrived, there was the bittersweet moment of saying Goodbye and the realisation for them, and for us, that this was it- their time at Godolphin had come to an end. We hope they leave with lots of lovely memories, strong friendships formed and the assurance to move confidently into the next chapter of their lives.
They have been a fabulous year group and we will miss them.
We wish them all the very best for the future- Farewell Class of 2022.
