A-Level Physics Trip to Southampton University for STAG Lecture on ‘The Frontiers of Fundamental Physics’
On Wednesday 13 November, we went to a fascinating talk at the University of Southampton on ‘The Frontiers of Fundamental Physics’ by Nathan Seiberg. The lecture gave us a very interesting insight on the evolution of both the particle standard model and the cosmological model, as well as the efforts to combine the two. It was also inspiring to hear about all the future possible discoveries left to be made and the advances still being made today.
