Godolphin welcomed over twenty children from schools including Pitton Primary, Harnham, Morgans Vale and St Marks for Super Science earlier this month. The invitation was for children to spend the morning in Godolphin’s vibrant and fully equipped laboratories and to experiment, enjoy discover and bring science to life.
Head of Science Dr Clinton Thrower said 'Forensic Science was the theme for our Super Science day this year, with the children investigating fingerprints and footprints, analysing for sugars, aspirin and ink dyes and using microscopes to match clothing fibres. It was great fun working with our visiting children who were enthusiastic and keen to learn. The sciences are fascinating and fun and provide a wonderful opportunity for intellectual development. '
