Godolphin tennis players enjoy their first fixture of the year
On Saturday we had our first tennis fixture of the year against Dauntsey’s and luckily for us it was a very nice hot and sunny day to start off the season. Considering this was the first time many of us had played matches in almost two years (and the sun was shining very brightly in our eyes at times!) everyone played incredibly well with many long rallies, tense points and a lot of deuces! It’s amazing to see how much talent and enthusiasm Godolphin girls have for tennis. We had a number of wins from all of the teams but a special congratulations to the U13B team who won overall 6-3 and to the U14C team who won 7-2.
A massive thank you to all of the sports staff who helped to organise the matches. I can’t wait to see how this season goes and am very excited for all the future matches, well done everyone!
