Godolphin Girls triumph over BWS Boys
The annual Bishop Wordsworth's School vs Godolphin 1st Team lacrosse match on Tuesday 7 May caused much excitement from both players and spectators! The tension built as the girls appeared dressed as cheerleaders and the boys in tribal outfits ready to play. The first half was very close as the boys surprised and impressed us all with their speed. The game quickly became fiercely competitive from both teams, whilst still being lots of fun! However, by the end of the match it became clear that Godolphin’s skills dominated and the final score was 9-7 to Godolphin. For many of the Upper Sixth, this match was the perfect way in which to end our incredible seven years of playing lacrosse.
