Godolphin entered three teams of Second Years to the Salisbury Bid School Challenge last Saturday. Organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the aim of this day was to gather ideas and plans for the regeneration of the City Centre. Our students' suggestions included plans to add colour and vibrancy to the centre by upcycling and improving benches, flower displays and signs; setting up an activity centre aimed at young people and families; and using Salisbury as a venue for Youth Festival.
All our students delivered engaging and professional presentations, speaking to a room of 150 people, able supported by lots of Godolphin parents! We got lots of positive comments afterwards from the audience - all commenting on our girls' confidence, ability to field questions and great ideas!
