Godolphin welcomes local schools for afternoon of Athletics
The Godolphin PE Department ran an exciting event for visiting primary schools yesterday. The children learned all about athletics skills, taking part in long jump, high jump and sprinting on the track, and they also learned throwing skills which included javelin and shot put.
It was such a joy to see all the children having so much fun. They were clearly enjoying themselves immensely whilst also benefitting from the expertise of our brilliant sports teachers and learning a whole host of new skills.
A team of Godolphin sports scholars and ambassadors helped to run the event and ensured that everything went smoothly.
After half-term we look forward to hosting more outreach events including a Lacrosse Taster, Fun with Languages, and a Shakespeare Experience.
