Students and staff take part in the The Big Sleep to raise funds for Alabare

Alabare 2020 83

This year, our largest ever group of over thirty students and staff slept overnight in the Cloisters of Salisbury Cathedral on Friday 7 February. We joined other schools, local groups and individuals who were all was raising vital funds and awareness for Alabaré's work with homeless and vulnerable people in Wiltshire. This is a highlight of the year at Godolphin and we are always grateful to take part in such an important event.

Photographs from the evening can be found here.

“ Sleeping out in the Cloisters will help the girls to understand the plight of the homeless. We’re so grateful for the amazing support we’ve received and we’re thrilled to have reached our £3,000 target with our fundraising. Thank you to everyone who has donated to this wonderful cause. This event brings together the community of Salisbury, of which we are proud to be a part, as well as helping those who are less fortunate than ourselves. ”
