Third Year textile students have been doing some really nice work. It has been a project that we have been building on over the weeks.
The students have been working on a Fashion and Textile project inspired by an international fashion designer of their choice. Once they had researched their designer and made a story board, they designed their own garment shapes taking influences from their fashion designer. They were given a set of Prediction Trends. From this they all produced a colour story and drawings based on their trend. Using the drawn imagery from their trend, they came up with their own textile prints for their garments.
"I have really enjoyed teaching this work. It has been so much fun."
