Godolphin Prep Nativity
One of the highlights of the Godolphin year is the Prep Nativity and this year exceeded all expectations!
As is tradition, the girls from Nursery, Reception, Years 1 and 2 were the stars of the nativity play which, this year, was Humph the Camel. A delightful tale of a monosyllabic camel called Humphrey who only ever said “humph” until he saw the baby in the manger and then got so excited he forgot to say… humph.
Before the nativity play, the Year 4s presented a snappy Hello Rap, followed by an upbeat version of We Three Kings of Orient Are by the Year 6s. The Year 5s sang a song about the camels which introduced the nativity and the Year 3 Camel Choir supported the nativity with fantastic singing.
“That was the best nativity I have seen in years” said one member of staff at the end of the show.
Congratulations to all involved!
