Although our sixth formers enjoy a considerable degree of independence and take responsibility for how they manage their time, it is not always easy.   The Sixth Form is a time of transition and can be a challenge at times; and events outside school can sometimes throw you off course and affect your wellbeing.  There are lots of people you can turn to if you feel that things are getting on top of you.

We have a very supportive tutoring system. You will belong to the same small tutor group for both your lower and upper sixth years, and your tutor will get to know you well and will be there to help and support you.  You might also want to talk to a member of the House Staff, or to our Chaplain or to one of your teachers.  There is also a qualified nurse in the Health Centre who can deal with a huge variety of things; if they can’t help you then they will find someone who can!  The service provided by the Health Centre is confidential.

There is a lot of support available to you to help you keep on top of things, achieve your goals and to really get the most out of your time in the Sixth Form.
