Throughout their time at the sixth form all students attend workshops and talks on:

Making post-A-level choices: the right university course; appropriate routes into the right career for them
Understanding the job application process: internships; CVs and interviews. This includes a chance to have an individual mock interview with visiting experts
Specific careers, through workshops with a variety of visiting speakers

All students can also have a careers interview with Mrs Ferguson at any time.  These are friendly and informal, with an emphasis on helping students to take responsibility for their choices and access the help and information available to them.

We also have some useful interactive careers programmes on the school intranet that can be accessed at school, or from home. They are designed to help you find out about which careers and courses might suit you, and to discover more about individual career areas. Log on to the careers page of the school intranet to find out more!
