Godolphin has a vibrant and broad-ranging programme for it music scholars. Scholarships are available at 11+, 13+ and 16+ and music scholars are given a wide range of opportunities to play both in and out of school.
What Music Scholars do
Music Scholars are given the chance to play as much music at they want to. They take part in ensemble work, they play in chamber music and sing in choirs. They will be given expert instrumental tuition and can take GCSE and A-level music. If they wish to study music at university or music college they will be given help to choose the best place to go and help with getting there.
Every year there is a special concert in which all the music scholars play.
If you would like to find out more about being a music scholar please email the Director of Music .
We can also put you on touch with one of our present music scholars who will be happy to tell you what music is like at Godolphin.
