The Godolphin School

I am delighted to introduce you to Godolphin both as the new Head and as a parent. From my first visit I was attracted by the warm yet purposeful atmosphere around the school. The girls are open, self-assured,  focused and passionate about their school.

A strong academic ethos provides the backbone of everything we do with a broad and challenging curriculum that caters for wide abilities and interests. Expert teaching and small class sizes enable each girl to develop her strengths, enjoy academic study and fulfil her potential. Educational provision beyond the classroom is equally important whilst the  enrichment and extra-curricular programme that we provide seeks to identify other interests and talents.   Pastoral care is second to none. Each girl, day or boarding, is a valued member of a truly supportive and caring community and we pride ourselves on knowing our pupils very well and so are able to direct, assist and support them in all their learning and personal development.

At Godolphin we believe that a good education is also about acquiring self-awareness and life –skills. With a dedicated and professional staff, it is our responsibility to prepare the girls and provide them with the confidence to make informed decisions for their future, aim  high and face the inevitable challenges that they will meet at university and beyond.

Godolphin is a vibrant and dynamic community which I feel privileged to be leading  as we build upon its fine ethos and many successes.
