Dear Parents
The Godolphin Parents’ Association (the ‘GPA’) is set up to provide understanding and co-operation between parents, the school and the Governors for the benefit of present and future parents of the school.
Many parents often ask about supporting and helping the school and the GPA would welcome a list of names and contact numbers of interested parties so that we can call upon you when your input would be of great value.
One example of this is the presentation mornings for prospective parents. These mornings end with drinks and a buffet lunch and it is beneficial to have existing parents who can mingle and talk to the visitors about their Godolphin experience to help them make the best possible choice for their daughter. Present parents who attend these events always find them enjoyable.
The dates for the presentation mornings in the coming academic year are:
Friday 2nd October 2009,
Friday 20th November 2009,
Friday 5th February 2010,
Friday 7th May 2010
Lunch runs from approximately 12.30 p.m. in the hall. If you would like to help at one or more of these lunches, or to put your name forward to be involved with future events, please contact me on 01264 735550 or any member of the GPA listed at the front of the school diary.
